By learning about kitchen safety, planning menus, selecting ingredients and preparing meals, domestic workers can have a huge impact on the health and happiness of the families they work for. Learning how to cook well, will also improve their well-being and attitude.
The course consists of 4 classes, runs over 4 Thursday mornings, 9am to 1pm.
It includes all equipment and ingredients.
Each person cook at their own station and the class is fully hands-on. They also cook 2 portions per meal. One they get to sit at a table they learn to set and enjoy their cooking. The other portion goes home for you to taste. Their homework per week is to draw up the shopping list and cook the meal at least once.
Certificates are issued upon successful completion of the course.

Intermediate Course (R3,800):

- Fundamentals of eggs
- 3 x Lunches
- Peri -peri chicken and sauce

Advanced Course (R4,900):
Hygiene, safety and knife skills
- Starters: Garlic and cheese Snails and Charcuterie board
- Mains: Fillet and Risotto
- Desserts: Crème Brullé and Pavlova
- Exam: Starter, Main and Dessert

- What To Expect: In our classes you’ll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructor.

- Fully hands-on classes are limited to 4 students.
